Sunday was nothing short of electric as Avondale kicked off their Australian Championship campaign with a commanding 3–1 win over Canberra Croatia.
In front of a buzzing Avenger Park crowd, marquee signing Bruno Fornaroli opened the scoring with a trademark header, before George Ott doubled the lead with a clinical finish. New signing Zach Cianci sealed the result with a brave effort on debut, capping off a dominant team performance and a perfect start to the campaign.

The boys now prepare for two away fixtures before returning home — and it’s set to be even bigger and louder.
