The season is almost at a close for the Wellington Phoenix academy.
The women’s reserves finished their campaign on a high note with a 2-2 draw away to Northern League champions West Coast Rangers.
Maisy McDonald scored just after halftime, before Alyssha Eglinton’s 97th minute equaliser secured a point on the road.
The men’s reserves went down 2-0 to a strong Auckland City side, also away from home.
This weekend, the men’s reserves host Birkenhead United on Saturday in their last home match of the year.
