On Tuesday, 18 November, Adelaide United were delighted to host St Paul’s college and Woodville High Schools Girls Football Academy players in a player-led football session as apart of the Adelaide United Academy School Program Partnership.
The session, lead by Adriana Taranto, Mel Taranto and Paige Zois provided players an insight of what an A-League Women’s training may look like on a daily basis, and focused on the important skills and behaviours required to become a professional.

Bringing elite coaching directly to schools, the Adelaide United Academy Schools Program aims to inspire young footballers by providing access to top-level players, coaches, and learning environments.

This activation forms part of Adelaide United’s ongoing commitment to engaging and developing young players across South Australia. The Academy Schools Program continues to expand, with sessions designed to complement school academy curriculums, increase participation, and elevate the overall quality of school football.
