To mark this very special milestone the Wynnum community came together at Carmichael Park last night [Tuesday, February 17th] for an official launch of the 2026 football season which his shaping up to be a memorable one for the club.

Last night’s official launch included the release of a new 15-minute documentary about our wonderful community club – filmed and produced by the talented Ben Cocklin from Pathos Film – as well as the reveal of our new jersey for the 2026 season.

Wynnum Wolves is not not only excited about the slick design of our new NPL Home and Away jerseys for the 2026 season but also the addition of coachbetter as our new front of jersey sponsors.

This comprehensive football coaching and management app – coachbetter – is used by some of the leading clubs and leagues around the world, including Barcelona, BVB, Manchester City and the German Football Federation and is being rolled out across Wynnum’s programs during 2026.

While the coachbetter name will take pride of place as our front of jersey sponsor for 2026, a host of other new club sponsors were also acknowledged on the night after coming on board to support of our many programs and teams across Wynnum Wolves alongside the club’s much valued existing sponsors and partners.

Further club announcements about all our new and returning sponsors will roll out across our club website and social channels in the coming days and weeks.

The 2026 jersey was once again produced by our long-term apparel partners Stanno Australia, with the design created by the talented Amanda Terblanche from PFS Creative.

Wynnum Wolves FC President, Rabieh Krayem, said it was wonderful to have members from the entire club community come together for last night’s launch.

“As one of the oldest football clubs in Brisbane it’s important we always look to occasions such as this to bring the whole community together to celebrate,” he said.

“It’s not just about our First team but the many, many people who come together to make our club such a cohesive and thriving club community. We’re looking forward to welcoming all our returning members – and many new faces – to Carmichael Park for what it set to be a huge 2026 season.”

While the release of last night’s documentary highlighted the journey of our wonderful community club over the past 105 years, Krayem said club members were also eagerly looking forward to the start of a bold new chapter for the club – the start of construction of the new Clare Polkinghorne Football Centre in the coming weeks.

There has already been a hive of building activity at Carmichael Park over the off season to ensure the facility is operational for the 2026 season, while construction of the new building is in progress. All that work received a huge thumbs up from the entire club community at the launch.

Wynnum Wolves FC is hoping to share a start date for the Clare Polkinghorne Football Centre project very soon.
