After 558 days CommBank Socceroos forward Awer Mabil was grateful to be back in camp with the national team and explained his overriding emotions.
The 30-year-old discussed playing in Spain in LaLiga 2 with CD Castellon, the competition for places particularly in attack, acting as a mentor for the younger players like Nestory Irankunda and Mo Toure.
He also admitted his excitement about facing Cameroon in the first match of the FIFA Series in Sydney.
