CommBank Socceroos forward Mathew Leckie discussed his return to the squad for the FIFA World Cup™ 2026 pre-camp in Sarasota, Florida.
Leckie spoke about what it would mean if he would be included in the final Socceroos squad for a fourth major tournament, the chance to do something special again and prove people wrong with Australia often wearing the underdog tag.
The 35-year-old also spoke about his ability to operate in several positions as well as discussed the exciting youngsters in the side such as Nestory Irankunda and Mohamed Toure.
