The Women’s kit carries the same striped identity as our home shirt – the same “All Paths Lead Here” story, told through hundreds of individual lines converging into the bold stripes.
Every line still represents a different journey, a different path, a different reason someone ends up pulling on the shirt. The Women’s team wears that story just as much as the Men’s, arguably more so, given how varied and hard-won the paths into women’s football usually are.
For this kit, we shift into a light blue base, a lighter, brighter reflection of Auckland FC’s blue.
Where blue represents the club itself- identity & ambition – the lighter blue represents something a bit more expansive: the sense of possibility that comes with still writing the chapters of Women’s football here at Auckland FC.
It’s the same DNA, just lit differently – a nod to where the club’s going.
The dominant, eight-time WSL champions, Chelsea FC Women, face off against the Auckland FC Women’s Invitational XI this Saturday, 8 August at 4pm at Eden Park in a landmark moment for New Zealand football. For the first time, local stars take the pitch against one of the world’s most dominant clubs in the NZ International Football Festival.
