A day for community, connection and a cause very close to the heart of Mayfield United SFC.
We headed down to Mayfield Park for the club’s Ladies Day, raising funds for John Hunter Hospital’s Paediatric Oncology Department and research into childhood glioblastoma (GBM), in memory of Hunter and other children facing cancer.
We caught up with Teearni and Kylie from Mayfield SFC to hear more about the meaning behind the day, the incredible support from club members, families and local businesses and what the fundraiser means to the Mayfield community.
