Two Wellington Phoenix players are in the All Whites squad for the upcoming international window.
Alex Rufer (26 caps) and Henry Gray (uncapped at senior level) have been picked in the team who will embark on a four-match run of games.
There are also eight former Phoenix players picked in the squad, including academy graduates Ben Old, Finn Surman, Alex Paulsen, and Ben Waine.
The All Whites begin the international window against Palestine on Thursday, September 24 in Chongqing, China, kicking off at 9.30pm NZT.
They then face China PR, also in Chongqing, on Monday, September 28 with the game kicking off at 12.35am NZT.
After those fixtures, New Zealand take part in the Kirin Cup 2026, first playing Panama on Thursday, October 1 in Yokohama.
They will then play either Ecuador or hosts Japan in the third-place playoff or final of the tournament on Monday, October 5 in Tokyo.
The Phoenix players selected will join up with the national team following the club’s pre-season tour to Australia this week, and return to Wellington before the opening match of the A-League season.
