The independent Match Review Panel (MRP) – consisting of Simon Micallef (Chair), Alan Davidson and Con Diomis – convened to consider one (1) incident arising out of the Isuzu UTE A-League Men matches played between Friday, 19 December 2025 and Sunday, 21 December 2025 in relation to Panashe Madanha of Adelaide United FC.
The independent MRP considered an incident in relation to Panashe Madanha (Madanha) of Adelaide United FC (Adelaide) in or around the 81stminute of the match against Perth Glory FC on Saturday, 20 December 2025, in which Madanha received a direct Red Card.
In accordance with the A-Leagues Disciplinary Regulations (Regulations), the MRP has the authority to consider the incident as Madanha was issued with a direct Red Card by the Referee.
The MRP determined that Madanha committed the offence of “Serious foul play (e.g. when challenging for the ball).” The Minimum Sanction for the Offence is one (1) match, being the Mandatory Match Suspension.
The MRP confirmed that Madanha will serve the Minimum Sanction for the offence. Therefore, Madanha will be eligible for selection in Adelaide’s match against Central Coast Mariners FC on Sunday, 4 January 2026.
