Brisbane Roar will be hungry for a massive three points against the reigning Champions as they face Melbourne City on the road on Tuesday night.
WHAT WAS SAID
Following a disappointing 3-0 loss to Wellington Phoenix during Saturday’s double header in Redcliffe, Michael Valkanis’ side will be looking for a big three points against the reigning Champions.
“It was a disappointing game but one that the boys really want to jump back on the horse and get back to playing and rectifying,” Valkanis said.
“[Melbourne City] are not going to sit back and park the bus, they’re going to press high, they’re going to play as attacking as they can. They’ve had one win in eight games. They’re desperately looking for a win because they’re Melbourne City, they’re Champions.
“We know their mentality going into this game. It’s an even playing field, they’ve had a short turnaround as well, apart from not travelling, but we’re ready for it.”
