Victory’s Blissett back for more

Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce that Chelsea Blissett has re-signed.

The 26-year-old defender, typically deployed at left-back, whose career includes 78 appearances in the Ninja A-League, will remain at the Club for the 2026/27 season.

Blissett, an Albury native and life-long Victory supporter, joined Jeff Hopkins’ team ahead of the last campaign and has spent the off-season in the Victorian NPLW.

Melbourne Victory Director of Football, John Didulica, commented:

“We are happy to have a player of Chelsea’s calibre remain with the team as we step up our preparations ahead of the new A-Leagues season.

“Chelsea brings quality and adaptability to Melbourne Victory and will be hoping to build on the platform of her performances in 2025/26.”

Blissett said:

“I am really excited to be extending my time at Melbourne Victory going into the new season and look forward to building as a team and individually on what was achieved over the past 12 months.

“Being able to play for my childhood club is a dream and I am determined to have success with this team.”
